A big congratulations to network member Dr Kerrie Stevenson who has received £450,000 of PhD fellowship funding from the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) for a project aiming to improve maternity care for underserved migrant women in the UK. Based at University College London and the University of Oxford, Kerrie has co-produced this project with Experts by Experience.

The project will bring together underserved migrant women, midwives, doctors, researchers, charities, and the government to create a plan for action to improve underserved migrant pregnancy care in the UK through analysis of a population-based dataset, Confidential Enquiry into Maternal Death data (MBRRACE-UK), and qualitative research.
